Dr. C. Shoba Bindu graduated B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in the year 1997, M.Tech in Computer Science from JNTU, Hyderabad in 2002 and obtained PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUA, Anantapur in 2010. After M.Tech, she joined Streamsoft Private Ltd., Hyderabad from March 1998 to November 1999 as a software developer and worked for 1 ½ year. Further she worked as Assistant Professor in Intell Engineering College Anantapur from Nov 1999 to May 2003.
She is a life member of ISTE, CSI, IAE and CSTA, also she is fellow of IE and senior member of IEEE. She is also a reviewer, editorial board member and advisory committee member for various journals and conferences. She has been promoted as Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur in November, 2015. She has filed Three Patents and she has authored Eight Books and editor of two national/international conference proceedings. Also, she is a reviewer of text book on Computer Organization by Naresh Jotwani published by TMH. She had published more than 150 international/national journal papers, and 5 book chapters. She presented more than 90 papers in international/national conferences. She organized several national level student symposiums, training programmes, workshops, FDPs, community service programs. She has guided 50+ B. Tech batches, 100+ M.C.A students, 140+ M. Tech students and 20 Ph.D.’s are completed and 5 are ongoing. Her research interests include Network Security, Wireless Networks, Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning.
With a profound sense of gratitude, I would like to extend warm greetings to the esteemed members of IE(I) for their confidence bestowed on me to take up the responsibilities as Honorary Secretary IE(I) ALC. I am humbled and well aware of the task before us and the dedication with tireless efforts exerted by our predecessors to establish and take ALC to the height of the vibrant local centre in the IE (I) South.
I pledge to provide the best services to the esteemed members with more useful services. We have developed a long term plan to expand the membership of IEI which eventually strengthens ALC’s financial position and we firmly believe that, with strong financial foundation, IE (I) ALC will be in a position not only to provide its members with more services in meeting their needs but also to increase collaboration with diverse partners.
I would like to extend my support so that all endevours of the ALC shall meet with huge success and appreciation and wish that we will have more wonderful opportunities to work together.
